Cité Marine: a French leader in Hauts-de-France
In 30 years, Cité Marine has grown to be the French leader in fish and processed vegetables, and more recently in the vegetarian food.
The company owns 7 production sites in the Grand Ouest region and is now planning a brand new production site in Saint-Quentin in the Hauts-de-France region.
The €32 million investment will enable the construction of a 12,000m2 production unit kitted out with the latest cutting-edge technology and employing 200 people. The project provides for an additional €15 investment by 2025 increasing the workforce to 300.
Hauts-de-France: a strategic choice for business
Three key factors drove the choice:
“This new site complements our existing locations and will allow the company to pursue its growth strategy in France and internationally” Eric Le Hénaff, Chairman and CEO, Cité Marine

How the project started, with a little help from Nord France Invest
The first discussions between the group, Nord France Invest and Agrosphères were initiated in October 2020, followed by the first site visit in January 2021. Having reviewed various proposals in France, Cité Marine selected the Autoroutes Business Park in Saint-Quentin.
The Saint-Quentin Communauté d’Agglomération, the Region and the French government threw their support behind the project to ensure its success.
